Wood River Campground hosts five sites located along the beautiful Wood River. This shaded, peaceful campground provides relaxation during hot summer days. The ghost town of Kirwin is located 18 miles west (rough road - 4-wheel drive recommended). 16-day stay limit Water: Not available This site is not accessible to persons with mobility impairments No cell service Notes: Maximum spur 30 feet. GuideSmall but nice campground
Only has five sites, but all are really nice, spacious and clean. Pit toilets were surprisingly very clean and well kept. The sound of the river is very peaceful to listen to.

Small forested campground with about 5 sites, situated along the Wood River. Quiet aside from a few cattle trucks during the day. Mostly just peaceful river sounds. Good for tents, vans or smaller trailers. Road in is about 10 miles of graded gravel.

Wood River is located in Wyoming
Directions
From Cody, travel south on State Highway 120 for 32 miles to Meeteetse. Take State Highway 290 west of Meeteetse for 7 miles to the Wood River Road (County Road 4DT). Follow the Wood River Road for 12.5 miles to Forest Road 200, which begins at the national forest boundary. The campground is located 1 mile west of the boundary.
