TravelerGreat place to stay: pretty & kid friendly
Nice clean campground. Had full hookups, paid $55/night. Stayed here to go to Great Sand Dunes Nat. Park. Beautiful trees in the fall and great sidewalk that loops around and down by the river. Office was accommodating and let us arrival after posted hours with an easy phone call. Fun kids area with playground and treehouse with zip line.

TravelerQuiet Rio Grand river sites
River spots are nice. Water and power but there is a dump station. Rio Grand River at your door step. Sites 1 through 18. Very relaxing Staff is friendly and helpful. Would definitely slay here again.

Directions
Starting from Hwy 160, turn North on Pine next to the Shell Station. Go across the railroad tracks and turn left on 1st Street. This will curve into Alder, which enters the Park. Alternate Route: Starting from Hwy. 112, turn West on 1st Street, which curves into Alder.
