Willow Lake Park

I really wish I could give it more stars, because the people were very nice. Lots of full-time residents who were helpful as well. Made a reservation over the phone and wrongly assumed it was a full hook up. However there is no sewer at the site. Was told on a follow up call I had to go with a 50 amp side because I had a fifth wheel. That cost me an additional $20 per night and for $65 I would expect a full hook up as well as 50 amp. I tried to argue that I only needed 30 because I was not going to run both ACs but gave up and excepted the extra charge because I need to a place to stay. For that kind of money I did not expect overflowing trash cans at the pavilion overflowing dumpsters throughout the park and $.50 for five minutes of hot water showers in the bath house. That seems kind of petty plus the water smells terrible of rust. Even with my filter the tap water I ran for coffee is pictured. Not a good experience. But like I said the people were very nice. 

I go here to camp during a private party rental of the back lots. They usually rent it out the same weekend as trick pr treat in August. We have so much fun. Great family camping. The kids love the huge swimming pool and all the games in the arcade. If you don't feel like packing a cooler there is a concession stand that sells all kinds of goodies. Prices aren't too steep and we all have fun when we go.
