Backup campground

Like others we ended up here after checking a number of other campsites that were full. The camp is usually for horse people but unoccupied spots are up for grabs after six. We had a walk in spot maybe a minute from the main parking lot. If given a choice, I’d stay somewhere else, but in a pinch…

Directions

From Forks, WA., travel US Highway 101 northeast for 24 miles to Forest Service Road 3071 (Near MP 216).  Turn left (north) and follow the road 1 mile where it ends at the Littleton Horse Camp. It is about .25 miles beyond Mt. Muller Trailhead, which is on the right.
