Small and comfy
Not a large campground, spaces are fairly close, enough to hear neighbors conversations….but generally everyone was quiet and considerate. The spot we lucked up on didn’t have much tent room, so it’s perfect for our camper van, but understandable why it was the only one left. Bathrooms are fairly clean with 1 pay shower with privacy door.
Unimpressive WA State Park
Not much space in any campsites we looked at. Site 8 was the one I chose after seeing what was available and assumed it would be fine but we arrived late and set up right next to creepy neighbors. I'm not usually a campground kind of car camper but never being to the area, security of reservations is comforting. The other nice part is showers while camping that you don't have to work for. The only men's shower was dirty as all hell like it hadn't received proper care in many days. Needless to say I decided it wasn't that important two days into a two week road trip.
Great state park
Easy pay station at gate and dump station 32$ for 1 dump. Has a loop trail though the park in dense foliage and goes by the small river in the back of the park. Sites are very secluded from each other very private two group areas.
