Weber Memorial Park is 86 acres seated adjacent to Causey Reservoir outside of Huntsville, Utah and nestled on the South Fork Ogden River. Causey Reservoir is located in steep, forested, valley terrain and extends into three amazing slot canyons perfect for fishing, swimming and cliff diving. Our camping park is a great location for individual or group camping which includes a recently renovated historic lodge perfect for your family reunion, weddings and board retreats.

Weber Memorial Park offers 58 individual sites and four large group sites (accommodates 200-300 people). Camp sites feature fire pits, picnic tables; group sites offer additional amenities including limited power and horseshoe pits.

Individual camp sites can accommodate up to eight people, two cars and two tents OR one trailer and one tent. Individual sites are available on a first come, first serve basis. No reservations are available.

Group sites are divided into Areas A, B, and C, and the Lodge. Reservations are required for group sites. NO DAY PICNICKING AT CAMPSITES WILL BE PERMITTED WITHOUT A FEE.

Weber Memorial Park opens the first weekend of May and closes in early October, weather permitting. Please call 801-399-8230 for closure information.

Three large group sites: A (has the lodge for additional cost)

B and C: $110/night for up to 50 people. Each site has a restroom (with flush toilets).

Individual campsites: $20 per night for up to 8 people, 2 cars, and 2 tents OR one trailer and one tent.

Reservation Info

We gladly accept reservations for the use of our group camp areas and facilities. Individual camp sites are available on a first come, first serve basis. Fees for these sites are paid on site to the camp host.

Really close to causey

Very cheap and and the essentials. Have to be an early bird cause spots fill in quickly.

Plenty of Recreational Opportunities Next to Causey Reservoir

This is a Huge campground and day use area, with 3 group sites, that is right next to Causey Reservoir! The park/campground is maintained by Weber County and has plenty of amenities along with additional bonuses at the group sites! There are 58 single sites and 3 very large group sites. There are picnic tables and fire rings at both of the types of sites but the group sites additionally have electricity as well as horseshoe rings and volleyball nets. There are also flushing toilets and trash for the whole area.

For recreation nearby you have very easy access to the beautiful and sprawling Causey Reservoir with its steep limestone walls. There is some high quality climbing nearby but most of the bolted routes are advanced to expert. If you're just looking to have fun climb/scrambling around you can do some deep water soloing on the south side of the reservoir. If you're looking to recreate in other ways you can also boat around on the reservoir and fish or fish from the shores or in the south fork of the Ogden River.

Families first camping trip 2019

We rented a large area with campsites next to the river very nice very spread out big lodge to play games in or big party for everyone nice flushing toilets just below Causey Dam
