Loved it.
Not many frills, no nothing. But it’s great dispersed/boondocking whatever you want to call it. Great area. Lots of options. Got there late in the evening so couldn’t really explore. 4x4 isn’t a must but can help a lot. Couple downed trees in some spots across the roads. Looking for a quiet remote place this is for you. Anything else probably not.
Nightmare!!!!
This place is beautiful but oh my god you couldn't pay me to stay here again. I stayed here two nights in June. There are a ton of sites, all with privacy, plenty of room, and killer panoramas, but they were almost all filled with caravans of large RVs with several 4-wheelers apiece. They waited until after dark, and then all you could hear from 8 pm until 6 am was groups of 4-wheelers revving and riding up and down the campgrounds all. night. long. I swear I didn't sleep at all the two nights we were there. One of the nights it even rained, and we still heard those 4-wheelers tearing up and down the roads all night – it was maddening. It's free but take my word for it... NOT WORTH IT.
Secluded, cool, and (mostly) quiet
This is a secluded campground...so much so that there are not even pit toilets. It was quiet and secluded and just about halfway between Bryce and Zion. There were tons of ATVs roaring through during the day though, so only four stars. It was free, and you can’t beat that!!!!
