Bisbee RV Park

There are do many things to do close by. Really good food and music.

I came here hoping to get in. It was my luck they did. I'm still here. This is a perfect place to re group before I head off to next place I land.

This park is a short 20 min (1 mile) walk to the border crossing into Naco, Sonora in Mexico, which is why we came here. The owner is such a nice, friendly, easy going guy, and we enjoyed chatting with him. He mentioned that he answers texts a lot better than he answers phones, or he can be reached via email as well. His“office” is a cluttered mess, like your grandpa’s well lived in workshop.

We got our spot by driving into the park and happening to run into him, otherwise I don’t know if we’d have been able to get a hold of anyone. The only sign you see coming in off the road is a sign for a dealer/ repair shop in the next town over called RV City, which can be confusing. The golf course across the street is overgrown and gated shut, but we did see a group of frisbee golfers there. There aren’t many places to walk your dog, but there is a gated small dog area in the corner of the RV park near the main road where your dogs can hang out off leash.

This park has bulk propane, wifi, showers, and laundry. The pull through spaces are nice and wide. No recycling bins provided. There appear to be a lot of long timers there, and we didn’t see too many people during our stay. It was pretty quiet overnight, just a few occasional car sounds. We paid$21 for FHU with Passport America discount. There is a book exchange box at the Gay 90’s bar at the border crossing, otherwise not much of a town and neither is Naco, Mexico unless you need a pharmacy or dentist.
