Beautiful Lake View
We knew going in that our site didn't have sewer hook up. Would have been nice to have, but the view being right next to the lake made up for it four-fold. Didn't really have any interactions with the campground staff (or need to), but the place was spotless and beautiful. We were in town for a bike rally and spent most of our time out riding around the nearby scenic roads. But wish we had stayed here longer. Took my kayak out in the lake and paddled around one evening, and it was BLISS!
Nice but....
This is a campground with lots of trees and water front lots but seems like the prime areas are filled with long term campers, so much for the 14 day limit, no openings for the weekenders near the beach area and only a couple of waterfront sites are available. The road is rutted and potholes thru out and our neighbors ran their generator all night, very loud considering I was in a tent. I’ll probably stay again but not my top choice.
Decent site
No sewer hook-ups and alcohol is not allowed on the grounds. Supposed to have a 14 day maximum stay but walking around you can tell there are plenty of long-term parkers. The road in is rough with potholes and the transition from blacktop to cement at the gate is a huge jarring transition. Probably a 3 inch difference. Not exactly what I want to hit on the way to my site.
