Gate closed at 5pm

This time of year water is shut off except for one spigot in entire park. No water at dump station. They close entry gate at 5 pm sharp. $14 for electric sites and $8 primitive. Have a 26ft travel trailer no problem with either site. Quiet except for slight amount of road noise. Hot Springs near by. Other than the water issue and gate closer no other complaints.

Half way descent place to stay

For the month of November, it was an ok place to stay. The sites ate big and have a shelter to use, if you need. They are pretty level as well.

Just remember that during Oct - Mar, they shut off the water to each site and only leave you with electric. They also close the main bathroom/shower, there are port-o-lets outside next to them. Oh and this time of year the gates close at 5pm and there is NO way to get your vehicle back in, so you have to park it outside the fence area and walk in to your site. Other than that, it's a pretty good park to stay, for the price. We paid $16 a night and was well worth the stay.

The sites are pretty big, we have a 41' 5th wheel and had no issue getting in. Could be a bit tight of the place was full but it worked out very well.

There is a playground for the kids if you need. Fishing in the lake as well.

Will revisit, clean and spacious.

I will return to this campsite. The host, rangers and staff were all nice and approachable. The sites are kept up and there is good distance from other sites, I did stay at a non power location. There is a giant field for activities and fishing at the lake with a large Primitive area. The night sky is amazingly dark since it’s very close The town, which is why it has only four stars.
