Shore hills has good prices and great views. The sites are large. The people are nice. It is the only place we have stayed at more than once.
GuidePeaceful and spacious campground
We spent one night in a 25 feet RV at the far end of the campsite. The campsite is spacious and clean, and has a nice walkway onto a small island in the lake. Very recommended!

What a beautiful and well cared for campground! We got a space on the water (82) and the view is so beautiful. Picnic table is clean and sturdy, bathrooms very clean. It’s a quartet for a shower but that’s fine with me. Lots of trees and plenty of space. Would definitely recommend!

Directions
From Portland (50 miles to Wiscasset): follow Route 295 North to Coastal Route 1. (Take either Exit 28 Brunswick or Exit 31 Topsham.) Continue on Route 1 through Wiscasset. After crossing the Wiscasset Bridge, go 1 mile and turn right (Rte. 27 south) at the information booth. We are 8 miles down Rte. 27, on the right.
