Quiet Low Key on Clam Flat
Small campground with a couple spots for rigs and a wooded area for tenting and small pull behinds. This is not a resort. Simple place to land and enjoy the coast of Maine. The owners Pat and Eric are great hosts. Great place for Clamming. They can issue a town permit for 7 days ($26) and have all the stuff to dig your own. Wi-Fi is good but not great depends on how many people are on. Verizon is spotty. AT&T is pretty good.
Another breathtaking stay......
This is our second year coming back to this same campsite. The owners were very friendly and attentive. This place is charming, rustic, and beautiful scenic. Last year we stayed for 3 days and it wasn't enough, so this year we booked it for 1 week. We have booked 2 sites for next year already, which tells you why we love this place so much.(Check the photos). The campsite is pretty quiet and spacious. Apart from an amazing view, you can't beat it. The campground was very accommodated plus we had 2 service dogs that loved this place so much. You can go down in the water during low tide to do clams hunting(you have to get a license from the front desk). All we can say is that this place is worth the$, time, no and stay. (Erica & Kieran)
Clamming anyone
Very nice, some spots open and on the water, some treed. Great tidal flat for claiming and walking.
