This popular camp makes a great base for exploring all the activities and attractions at the lake and in the surrounding area.

Nicely forested campground
This was very nice when we spent a night in mid September. It is heavily used by campers with atv’s and Utv’s so you may have to deal with them driving by all the time. It was fairly quite when we were there though and it has a nice little lake.
Beautiful & Quiet
This campground is very quiet and serene, the lake is great for fishing, floating or just swimming. Our spot I was worried about cause our tent is gigantic. It fit it, as well as everyone else’s that we were with. The pad is very well elevated in case a sporadic storm moves through as it did this night. There are many large and petty level sights that would be perfect for our tent. Has a lot of shade for our dogs and that was a huge plus as I hate them getting hot. Will definitely visit again.
Nice campsite.
It's a nice location. Not too far from town, so you can easily drive into deadwood, for the day/night if you want. Beautiful spot, I recently stayed in a site just a short walk away from the water. So beautiful. The lake is small but still great.
