Pikes Peak Resort

It is such an adventure to get to the peak. Many animals along the way to watch and admire. The wind is so strong that it can take your car window off. Must try those donuts since you're at top.

Great place to stay when admiring the beautiful CO scenery

I must warn you to please acclimate yourself to the altitude of Colorado if you come from low altitude places or you will feel sick by the time you reach the top. The drive is a little nerve wracking yo say the least. It’s twist & turns from the beginning to the end. The drive takes about an hour to go up & an hour to come down with a break check mid point yo make sure your cars breaks are not over heating. Once up there’s a great store where they serve AMAZING doughnuts, hot chocolate etc and you can buy souvenirs. Take a jacket because odds are no matter the time of the year it will be cooler or colder up there
