Great campground on Timothy Lake if you don't need Mt Hood views.
We had an excellent experience here. Some of the cleanest vault toilets ever. There are very spacious double campgrounds; most of the sites are well shaded and spaced too. We weren't in one on the water but it was still very easy to take our kayaks down to the lake. Camp hosts were wonderful, came by and gave our kids junior ranger packets and were very helpful answering questions. Firewood is available, spotty cell coverage. While we were there we had to stay close to shore as fire fighting planes were constantly picking up water from the lake.
Clean, lively, ideal location
My wife, our fur son Leon, and I had a great stay at Pine Point. It's hard to complain about much here. You're less than a 30sec walk to the shore of Timothy Lake — some sites are essentially waterfront. The facilities were very clean. The camp host was amazing, a fun and attentive person to have on site. The reason it gets 4 stars from me, and not 5, is because it's a busy, lively campground (not to mention all the surrounding campgrounds & day-use areas). And generally speaking, the sites didn't have much privacy. So, it can be hard to avoid the hustle and bustle. Buuut, if you're looking for an energetic campground (it's also very kid-friendly), Pine Point is a great spot! The location and views alone make it a campground worth visiting.

Great spot for a quick weekend stay
Great little spot for a quick weekend trip. Campsites + facilities were super clean. Bathrooms + water + garbage/recycling were convenient. Loop around the lake is pretty and lots of private spots to set up for the day. The day-use areas are mixed in & super busy on the weekends. Great little spot overall. Interested in other campsites @ Timothy Lake and will check those out soon.
