Much to be desired. Lots of potential
Beautiful lake with nice beaches, however, when we went, the water has a “no contact order” from May- end of September. This was not disclosed when booking. You can still take your boat if you have one. Bathrooms were clean, but old. No showers in main campsite area.
Pretty good campground
The campground was nice. There were showers and restrooms available for use. Access to the water without walking through rocks is pretty slim but we did find a couple spots that our dogs could get in. There is no dump station available at the park, you have to drive to town to dump your tanks at…
Kid friendly lakeside camp
We only stayed one night but Willow Creek was a great waypoint. It is somewhat hard to find by signage, so carefully pay attention to GPS. Kids and families biking and walking and it has very nice paved areas. The May birding around this end of lake was fantastic. Bath facilities were a walk away…

Directions
NW of Norfolk : From Hwy 13 turn west (on gravel) 852 Rd. 2 miles, turn South (left) on 549 Avenue to 851 Rd. 1 mile west (right) then north (right) 1/2 mile to enter park or go through Pierce (for paved roads) to west Willow Street and follow park signs.
