Your neighbors dictate your experience here
The park employees are great and the pond itself is nice. The restrooms were decent, too. But if your neighbors are a pain they will be so close to you that they will ruin your trip. We had a beautiful spot but no chance to unwind. If day drinking to loud music surrounded by even louder…
Has good things ... has not so good things
We just completed our stay here at Curlew Pond. Long time listener first time camper here.
Pros:
1. All the sites are basically on the water. It's great. The Reserve America / DCR site map is wildly inaccurate (never experienced that before) and shows our site not at all near the water…

Curlew Pond Campground — Myles Standish State Forest is located in Massachusetts
Directions
Located in southeastern Massachusetts. From the North: Take Rte. 3 south to exit 5, turn right onto Long Pond Rd. (west) and continue for about 3 miles to the park entrance on the right. From Rte. 495: Take Rte. 495 to exit 2 (South Carver) and the intersection with Rte. 58. Take Rte. 58 north on Cranberry Rd., follow signs. From Southeast: Rte.3 north to exit#3. Left off of ramp. Right onto Long Pond Rd, 2 miles forest entrance.
