Beautiful campsite
This is a beautiful campsite in Andersonville, TN, approximately 2:45 hrs from Asheville, NC. The lake is clear and clean. The campsites have water and power hook-ups. The staff in the store were super sweet and helpful. They even sell firewood and ice after hours on the honor system. The only reason for the 4 stars is that the bathrooms are not the best we’ve seen and only 1 shower in the bath house. The grounds are dog friendly and as long as they are on a leash, can splash around in the water. Our site had amazing views, but little shade. It also had perfect tree spacing to hang hammocks. *beware, there is tons of goose poop- no good if your pup is a turd burglar!

Awesome Lake Views
Stayed at a premium lakeshore site on Norris Lake. Advertised as a pull through, but that must be for travel trailers, as I have an RV. Positives: can beat the lakefront site for direct access for swimming or watercraft. Clean bathhouse and trash dumpsters near by. Most of the shady sites are not direct lake access. I didn't give it 5 stars because leveling can be a challenge. Super friendly and helpful staff.
Great spot
Campsite was clean, quiet and beautiful when we stayed. Campsites were well spaced and immaculately maintained. I’d love to come back during the summer! We did a day trip to Knoxville zoo, which was about 45 minutes away.
