A Quick Stay Spot
We were looking for a Passport America campground in the Middlebury area for a quick stay to clean tanks and refresh water after days of boondocking. Almost all FHU sites were occupied. Found out they run a June special allowing locals to pay for the weekends, but leave their rig all week. We stayed midweek and it was very quiet. I’m sure the noise and activities ramp up on the weekends. Would stay again for one night to clean tanks, etc.
Kampersville kids
I am a grandma in my seventies and took seven kids and my daughter to kampersville. There was definitely something for everyone.Teens hung out, boys used those RC (?) cars to run on dirt roads. Little kids rode bikes . I noticed lots of other grandparents with kids. Many seasonal campers. Beautiful lake. Crazy pool.No WiFi . An ancient dump spot. If you are looking for peace and quiet, this is not the place.
Family Campground
This is a great campground for families with children. There is pool & lake swimming, daily activities, etc. This is not a place visit if you want to have early quiet time in the evening or sleep in late in the morning as there is always a lot of noise. This was exactly what our family likes though.
