I would NOT recommended Hidden Marina Campground and here is why:

• The manager took extra money out of people's accounts without permission or knowledge when paying the lot rent with a card.

• They have in their employ a man that is a felon who brags about having guns in his RV. This man also threatened to destroy people's vehicles and RVs. He also threatened to kill a man he got into an altercation with. The management did not see the need to let this individual go after these threats were made to campers.

• The water smells like rotten eggs or rotten meat on any given day. I would not recommend drinking. They periodically just pour bleach in the tank to "clean it" and then your water smells like bleach. If you have a washer and dryer in your RV or are using the laundry room on-site beware of bleaching that may occur when washing. Water pressure is awful.

• The campground grass is rarely mowed and you could very well pull into a site with knee deep grass. The cabins are not well kept and you need to bring your own toilet paper and sheets. They are not cleaned very well either.

• Dogs run off leash and poop all over park.

• There is NO cable or internet provided so be prepared to blow through your hotspot.

• The pool is not cleaned on a regular basis and often closed during summer months due to being too dirty.

• The road in and out of the park is 3/4 of a mile long and dirt so when when it rains it becomes awful to drive on due to holes. They do not maintain the road and you need to drive down it extremely slow and carefully in order to not damage your vehicle or RV.

• The campground in general is not as advertised. It seems run down and not maintained well. A real disappointment.

💩

Not sure how people can be so cruel, kindness can go a long way. We stayed out here for about 3 months, in those three months so much happened, it’s unreal. Was informed a worker specifically frank“abuses his animals and had multiple taken and is a felon” well I’ve watched him have incidents with others and they continue to stick with him. May 26th around 7pm me and my fiancé were going to the dog park when the gate wouldn’t work, which it doesn’t half of the time. The high school worker told us to help him push up on the gate so we did. Frank pulled up and cussed out my fiancé saying“the gate was more than his yearly paycheck” called him“dumb”“stupid” a“f***ing idiot” and so much more. I rolled down the window and all I said was“it wasn’t just him” and he kept telling me to shut up. We went to talk to the manager Crissy and she told me“she isn’t a kindergarten teacher, I shouldn’t have said anything and the boy is 12 why would I listen to him”(he’s in high school and a worker)“nothing she can do”.. if you’re reading this.. you probably went about your night and never thought of it again, I spent days thinking about it, and playing it back.. You never know what goes on in someone else’s life, nor their story, a little kindness could’ve helped this place a ton. If you move out here everyone will tell you it’s“sh**” the people are“sh**”“keep to yourself and don’t say anything” and“they want to move but no where is as cheap” thankfully we had a backup option that worked out perfectly. For the people that read this far, in the short time I was here a neighbor threatened to shoot me and my dog at 7:45am(nothing was done), another neighbor come in while we weren’t home, took my dog, and brought her back later never informing me. Can’t have a large dog pen, because we would look like trailer park trash, can’t have a wood table, looks like trailer park trash, can’t set a trash bag outside to take off, looks like trailer park trash. But then there are others that live in horse trailers. Very much a pick and choose place.

Beautiful place, no frills

This is a very basic campground with a lot of unfinished upgrades in progress. Georgetown itself is a quaint little town with all the essentials. The campground is secluded and safe and although there is never anyone in the office they always answer the phone right away. The paper mill is just up river and is very noisy. We called it "Mordor" because of the weird noises it makes at night. They are building a laundry facility but for now you must go outside the campground to do laundry. The bath houses are outdated and we never used them because of the odor. There isn't much for the kids to do except for a few swings. It was winter when we visited so fishing was a hard sell for our boys because of the cold. Can't wait to see how it looks after the upgrades are finished.
