Hickory Creek - Lewisville Lake

Absolute newbie here. Campgrounds were beautiful, clean and well spaced out. The only “negative” I found is that the sewage hook up is not at the actual site. There are dump stations in different places. It was a bit nerve wrecking to use the dump station while people waited behind me and it is my very first time doing this. Other than that, I highly recommend the camp grounds and will definitely come back!

Scale 1- bad, 5-Very good 70 yr olds in 17’ trailer: Overall Rating: 4.5 Usage during visit: high over weekend Site Privacy: 4 - open Site Spacing: 5 large sites Campground Noise 5 Quiet Road Noise: 3 to 5. Highway bridge towards south source of road noise. Our area , hardly any. Bugs: 5 No issues during our visit. Bathroom Cleanliness: 5. Some Bathhouses have solid doors. Cell Service (AT&T): 5 Setting: on lake sites are fantastic . Some sites on inside of loop still have a view. Look at CG map. Weather: 3 varied. Thundershowers to Sunny . Mildly humid some days. Solar: electricity available Host: 5 Location: 5 NOTE: Unfortunately campers need to be in the CG by 10:00PM, gates close. The lake is beautiful.

This is a well-maintained park with friendly people and beautiful lake views. Have stayed in space 12 and space 60 - the higher numbers have newer tables and grass. Restroom facilities are clean. My one complaint is there's a playground on their map but no actual playground that we could find.
