Our spacious, resort sites include water, sewer, 50 amp electric service and paved roads. We offer seasonal sites or open area tent and RV camping.
The fort complex is a full-scale replica of an early 1800s-style frontier fort. Within the complex you will find a restaurant, shops, weekend flea market and a stage for bands and other activities.
Seasonal and overnight campers can enjoy a scenic walk along West Harbor, fishing, a round of putt putt or just lounging by the swimming pool. Boat storage, a playground, modern restrooms, hot showers and laundromat all contribute to making Fort Firelands RV Resort one of the best spots for family camping in northern Ohio!

We had the best lot in the place! We were on the end (which is always a plus for us), and were able to see Lake Erie!
Very Quiet, but not much really goes on when it is raining. They only had 50w outlets, but will lend you a converter for $15.00, which is refundable upon leaving.

GuideQuiet campground near Lake Erie
This is a quiet campground near Lake Erie. The campground seems like it’s mainly seasonal but they did have some transient camping and tent sites. We stayed at site 156. The site was large with a large grassy area right on the lagoon. There was a large flock of geese that stayed near the lagoon which meant goose poop around our site. It was also very buggy in the evenings. The electric is 50 amp. They have connectors you can use for a $25 deposit and then get your money back when you return the cord. They accept check and cash, no credit cards. The roads are paved and they have a nice outdoor pool, small playground, and small miniature golf course.
