If you want to fish for the various species of trout in the crystal clear water, the fishing here is world-renowned, and the facilities are top-notch.

Denton Ferry RV Park has been selected as Arkansas' BEST place to rv and camp in 2021. We are the area's only Good Sam RV Parks inspected, rated, and approved park. We offer private and easy wade-in access to the White River, and convenient boat access nearby. If you want to sight-see, hike, or simply take a stroll on our scenic 2.5 mi walking trail which ends up at the historic Cotter Big Spring Park. The natural beauty and wildlife of the area is truly amazing. We are an easily accessible campground near Cotter on Highway 62/412, in a quiet peaceful river valley away from the noise and flow of highway traffic.

Denton Ferry RV Park is conveniently located close to shopping, restaurants, points of interest (such as Branson, Eureka Springs, Mountain Home, Mountain View, Norfork, and many more), and a variety of activities for the whole family.

Hot in summer

This is probably an excellent site in spring or fall. However summertime is hot at the site because of the lack of shade trees. Site 15 is by the water and has a large area for dogs or family. There is a staircase down to the water next to site 8. The fishing is good. It’s a pet friendly site however if your dogs bark neighbors will complain. The manager is friendly. They do not have trash pick up service; you just take your trash to a dumpster at the end of the camp, which is not a big deal. No grill available but has picnic tables and fire ring. WI-FI aid very good.

Beautiful park

Knowledgeable staff, quiet park right next to the river. Not all sites have campfire rings but they are available. We brought our own with an ample supply of firewood. I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone
