Large Sites, Open, Easy Rez Access
Large sites, though mostly unshaded. You can walk to the reservoir. Great for paddle boarding, kayaking, fishing. Best when it is hot out and can cool off in the water. Great scenery.
The view is nice
It is a simple campground. There is No shower or hot water. There are flushing toilets and sink with cold water.
If you are aware of this, and still want to go you will be happy here if not, find other place.

What a hidden gem this campsite was! The bathrooms are cleaner than any campsite I've ever stayed in and were always well stocked with toilet paper. There's running water, and secure dumpsters around the grounds. Each campsite also has its own secure bear box that was large enough to fit my 50qt…

Directions
Take I-70 west of Denver to Glenwood Springs Exit 116, Highway 82 to Basalt. At Basalt, take Frying Pan Road 15 miles to the Ruedi Complex Entrance. Take a right, then a left, and proceed to second campground.
