Easy wheelchair access is nice. the trail around the camp ground is excellent if un even isn’t for you.the trail it winds up at an improved fishing deck, wheelchair accessible. The camp site’s all clean, well maintained and clean rest room’s.
A fun place to visit
We took a travel trailer and had a great time. Plenty of shade trees, the stream was nice, paved roads all throughout.
Perfect for Families
This campground is only 30 minutes from our home so it’s a very easy weekend get away for us. The road is paved almost all the way to the campground and it’s not far from the highway. For these reasons it’s a very popular campground, I would not expect to show up Friday morning and get a spot. We always have a back up plan in case it’s full. Definitely a busy campground, it can be noisy with kids on bikes and lots of cars driving through. The camp host is very helpful and keeps the bathrooms (vaulted) very clean. There are spots to swim and fish. We never had a problem parking our 27” pop up in any of the spots. If you’re looking for an easily accessible, family friendly campground, this is your spot!
