Recreation
The 1,070-acre New Fork Lake offers great boating, canoeing and swimming. Anglers fish for kokanee salmon and brook, lake and rainbow trout. A large cement boat ramp is located a mile and a half from the campground, at the lake's northwestern shore. New Fork Trail, for hiking and horseback riding, begins at the entrance to the neighboring Narrows Campground (2.5 miles away). The trail provides back country access through New Fork Canyon into the Bridger Wilderness, and connects with several other trails. Horse corrals are located at the trailhead.
Facilities
The campground's large group site can accommodate up to 150 people, with picnic and serving tables, grills, two bear boxes for food storage, and a double vault toilet. Garbage service is located just outside of the group site on the main Forest Service road. Drinking water is not available.
Natural Features
The group site lies in a grassy meadow surrounded by lodgepole pine trees, which provide only very limited shade. As there is no traditional defined parking area, the group site allows for informal camping, gatherings and family affairs.

Newfork lake campground
Made a lap through campground, it has not been kept up roads were bad. Driving a jeep JLU on 35” tires with lift. No way an RV could get in and out of this unless it has good clearance. I did not stay to many campgrounds in the area to stay in one this run down.
Small rundown campground
Very rough and run down campground. 15 sites but most are overgrown and small. Not advised for TT it or RVs as the access road is the roughest I have ever encountered, almost need high clearance vehicle. Rate is cheap though..$7 nite. Sites have tables, fire rings, and there is a vault toilet. However No water, trash cans and no cell signal. There is a day use beach area though that is scenic, if you can make it down the spur road!

Dusty group camp
Nothing to write home about, the short road in is rocky and almost high clearance. Tables and rings are old and worn out. Pit toilet onsite was clean however. Big open grassy weeds area but spots to pitch tents back in trees. No water or trash. No cell signal. Not on the lake or by the boat ramp as noted in a pic that someone posted here. This group camp is not the same camp as the other New Fork Campground which is on the lake. NOTE: Some of the reviews posted here are incorrect and likely are meant for the other New Fork Campground on the lake close by, or the Narrows Campground at top of the lake
