Directions

From Powers, OR, go south on County Road 90 to Forest Road 33 to Forest Road 3358, travel 4.4 miles up Forest Road 3358-090 to Big Tree Observation site and trailhead. From Gold Beach, OR, go northeast on County Road 595 to Forest Road 33 to mile post 57 at Elk Creek Falls Trailhead. The Big Tree Trail will intersect 0.05 mile up the Elk Creek Falls Trail. From Glendale, OR, go west on Bureau of Land Management Road 32-9-3 to Forest Road 3348, travel 12 miles down Forest Road 3348 to Forest Road 3358 to the right and travel up and for 11 miles to Forest Road 3358-090 at Big Tree Observation Site.
