Bastrop/Colorado River KOA

The staff were super friendly, and extremely helpful. Our timing was not the best. Covid prevented us from using the facilities, road construction and park construction. No cable available during renovations. Pretty views of the Colorado river, however zero access to the river. The lack of shade made the RV very hot. Again, our choice of dates.

Management of campground very helpful in difficult times. We arrived during a utility upgrade so television was unavailable. Due to Covid restrictions the pool was by reservation only. The park is very pretty however only half of the campsites have shade and ours was unshaded at 90 plus degrees. The pet area was excellent. The campground is located adjacent to the Colorado river, unfortunately there is zero access to the river. With close proximity to the highway, the park was surprisingly quiet.

Spent a night here on my way back from the coast. Nice KOA with everything you could need to be a happy camper. Very friendly and helpful office staff as well.
