Arkansas Bend - LIMITED ACCESS FOR COVID

We stayed here for a few days in late January. The campground is new, everything is in pristine shape, the sites are huge, and they keep it nice and clean. The lake is pretty decent, there are a few small trails around the area, and you are close to a small town. Biggest issue? 30 bucks a night, plus 5 dollars per person for a day use fee. That works out to 40 bucks a day for two people. Steep. Why on earth they have campers paying the daily use fee is ridiculous. That should be included in the campground cost! I guess they are trying to recoup the cost for all their modifications. Other problem are the luke warm showers and horrible shower heads. It’s like taking a shower under a pressure washer with a button you have to press every minute. Please provide NORMAL showers for your campers! Other than those two gripes, this place is really nice and clean.

We have a pull behind. We were very surprised at how level our gravel campsite was. It made setup a breeze. The loop makes backing into your spot easy. The wifi is decent. We have enjoyed the hiking trails down by the water and the playground for our kids.

Was previously closed for renovations. RV and tents sites on very well manicured gravel pads. Facilities are super clean and very nice. Great playground fir the kids and several miles of hiking trails.
