Great place to visit
Beautiful views of Lake Champlain. Plenty of spots for in and out visitors. Seasonals are mostly elderly residents but set back from the non-seasonal sites. I would definitely revisit.
Color explosion
Visit this campground in the fall and experience quintessential Vermont in all its glory. The campground is nice. The people are friendly. We stayed there the last week of the season so things were very quiet. Study the sites carefully because our “premium view site” looked into a boulder. If you squinted and closed one eye you could a piece of the lake out of one sliver of our windshield. Sites are very large and the campground is laid out in a very attractive way rather than typical straight rows. Lots of walking paths. Store with sandwich shop.
Summer Solstice
Weather was cool and rainy the first two days. Friday was beautiful. Lots of things to do around here with dogs and kids. Breweries near by for the so inclined. Should have brought my roadbike, this is a bicyclers heaven.
Campground is not to tightly packed, enough room. One thing is that their hook ups are on the passenger side. You have to pull straight in with the truck and camper. This is because a lot of class A prefer this way, not sure.
Staff was nice an courteous. Campground was very clean
