ScoutNO FREE CAMPING AT MUSTANG PARK
The pic of the tent is from decades ago. Mustang Park has NO Camping, No ATVs/UTVs, No golf carts, No fires, No glass containers, No fishing, Day use only, 6am-9pm, Day use fees=Boat Launch, $5 day, Area fee=$5 per vehicle. There used to be free camping, back in the ‘90s. Designated swimming areas, fishing areas only.
Good news;
There’s 1 dump station still usable from camping days.
Several restrooms, 1 large building still has a shower available, not sure if works, tho, other 3 shower doors locked.
I gave it 5 stars because it’s an absolutely beautiful lake & clean place.
Several restroom buildings with toilet paper..!
Note: there are 2 new, very large established 5th wheels there, I’m guessing they live there to monitor the place…

My family and I love to come to this place for a nice relaxing time by the water. But here lately the trash is getting real bad. Let's pick up the trash. Let's not leave behind so much trash. You know where the trash goes!!! Don't tell me your momma didnt teach you where the trash goes 👍🤜
