Great little lake
The park is maintained very well. Great hiking and great place for tents. The only thing is the RV site pads are narrow and not very level. Lot of the sites are very short too. They have kayaks to rent and fire wood. Love the space between the sites and great trees for hammocks.

Calm place for primitive camping
The camping isn’t primitive as such but it has campsites segregated by bushes, ensuring privacy. We went here both in summer and winter and found the facilities adequate.

Beautiful camping spot
Purtis Creek State Park This was a very small park but it was quiet and peaceful. The primative sites are a .6 mile walk. The park office recommended site E because it was harder for people to see you if they are walking on the trail. It was a fantastic spot!
