This point is first come first serve, find any spot you like. Primitive camping. Restrooms have recently been torn down and are going to be rebuilt. It's a great spot for Kayaking and other water sports, or just relaxing in the water. Also, a great place to watch 4th of July fire works show put on…
Purtis Creek State Park This was a very small park but it was quiet and peaceful. The primative sites are a .6 mile walk. The park office recommended site E because it was harder for people to see you if they are walking on the trail. It was a fantastic spot!

Smaller park with great amenities. Clean facilities and impeccable staff to assist you
Friendly staff at check-in. We stayed in campsite 29 which is kind of elevated a bit and we had a great view of the lake. Even tho it rained quite a bit we still enjoyed ourselves. Local sheriff’s dept and park ranger made several trips through the park which made it feel secure. Bathroom…
Pulled into this campground and almost left as office was closed….then the manager drove up! She gave us a great deal we couldn’t pass up! Beautiful campground with nice scenery!

My kids are already asking when we are coming back. The owners and staff are super friendly. The water park kept my kids happy the entire weekend. Only drawback was not open past 5 pm but I understand why (they do private parties). Plenty activities for kids. They set up a movie night on the…
Gated. Level pads. Quiet. Dog park. Play ground. Wifi. Cable. Lake.
The park was small, but nice. We loved waking up to see a pasture full of cows behind us. The manager was very polite. I would stay here again.
Very good cross country mountain bike trails and hiking trails around the lake. You will need a mountain bike to ride the trails due to the roots.

We stayed one night in our RV in this spacious RV resort. My kids had fun fishing and playing on the playground and LOVED that we could rent a golf cart. The pad for the RV was level, with a nice amount of space between sites. Good value for the cost.
Over 150 concrete sites all level from what I could see. Well set up for Class A Motorhome sewer, water and 50 and 30 amp connections. Walking distance of big grocery store. 15 miles from Lake Fork. They even bring you a 55 gallon garbage container.
Fun park with a lot of options for hiking, fishing and kayaking! Had an awesome primitive camp loop, RV and shelter sites looked good too!
The bathrooms and shower are clean, there’s a community kitchen that has a microwave, coffee maker, and refrigerator. The whole place is decorated very nicely. There’s a nice lawn and games, plenty of chairs, lights in the trees, and even wifi. The owners are cordial and do a very good job of…
Have about 10 concrete pads, the rest are level gravel. Blacktop roads, tennis/pickle ball court, small fishing lake, laundry, pool and tiny houses.
Beautiful, clean, nice spots, great staff
