Our second home. Everyone is friendly and nice, staff and guests. Beautiful campground.
It is a great spot for anyone wanted to fish with a HUGE pier. The sites were well groomed. We were on Live Oak Circle with a nice view of the fields. One thing I’d say is BRING STUFF FOR MOSQUITOES. One bottle of bug spray won’t work. Bring more. There is a Walmart in Fulton if you underestimate.…

It is a Airport near here, and they take off every 3 to 5 minutes ! If that is not enough, than you have the major Hiway next to you ! But hey, what you expect for $ 20 ? Cause that much you pay with Pasport A.erica ?... The Staf, is very friendly.

Just chill. The place is clean, not much around and free. The beach is made up of shells, not sand, so some sort of protective shoes are needed. That aside, there is not much to do here except to relax. And that is just we wanted.
When we stayed in early April there were plenty of other campers…
Camped with all 5 of our little ones, great campground, staff was friendly and helpful and the store right by the park gates sells hard wood firewood for a decent price
Magnolia Beach is a mid-nineteenth century beach front community that offers authentic charm because it has not been gentrified. No high říše condos or pretentious sea side mansions, and no casinos or fancy resorts. There is a large inland estuary for birding and an elevated walk way with an…

The other reviews were very promising, and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised by the atmosphere of peace and relaxation. I live in north Houston, and it took us about 3 hours to get there, on a Friday afternoon. Since we went in the wintertime, there weren’t that many people, but the people…

This was the perfect place to rest after a long 3 days of travel with a sick pooch. They have everything you would need and more. Disc golf, paint ball, hiking, bike trail, and of course fishing. If that isn’t enough if your there at the right time they have a rodeo complex next door.
This location is absolutely awesome. Right where the Colorado River flows into the Gulf of Mexico. The fishing is awesome and the sunsets are spectacular! There isn't any shade, so I think it's best to go in the fall or spring. We had a full hookup site on the Colorado River, and it was huge…

Free beach camping. There’s plenty of other campers here. And seashells everywhere!! By day there’s a seeming ugly view of an oil refinery across the water... but by night that place lights up and there’s something more whimsical about it. This was fun for a one night stop along the way.
I feel I got kind of lucky to find this beautiful weather spaces spot full hookup may come by once a week to empty your tanks
Beach & wooded sites. Remodeled after 2019 hurricane. A steal @ $22/night with TX Park Pass!
Wish I would have come better prepared to fish. Did see a Whooping Crane. Stayed on the bay side. Kinda strange the had restricted capacity so they shut an entire loop instead of spreading people out. Air boats are loud early and late.
The wooded area camping loops wind through lovely groves of Texas Live Oak, and Loblolly Pine, which make great habitat for winter warblers. The sites are spacious and set reasonably apart from each other to offer some privacy. Most campsites offer water and electricity. These sites are MUCH…
