Very basic campground

It is right off of Hwy 127. There are only 5 sites, but they do have gravel. They have water and electric only. No sewer hookups or dump station. No firepits or grills. No shade at all. It is located directly across the street from the Sergeant Alvin C. York State Park. The State Park itself has covered picnic tables, grills, restrooms, and a playground. The park is next to the Wolf River and allows fishing with proper licenses. The campground is owned by descendants of Sgt. York. You have to check in at the York Country Store just up the road. There is a visitor center at the State Park that gives guided tours of the York home and has exhibits and artifacts from WWI and a gift shop. There is an easy hiking trail behind the York home which leads to a suspension bridge and down to the cemetery where Sgt. York is buried.
