## Overview

 This location is available on a first-come, first-served basis only. Visitors are required to physically arrive at the campground to purchase and claim a site. Once on-site, you may be able to pay for your campsite(s) by scanning a QR code using the Recreation.gov mobile app, and the Scan and Pay feature. If this option is available, you will need to first download the free Recreation.gov mobile app https://www.recreation.gov/mobile-app prior to your arrival as some remote areas have limited or no cellular service.

Horse Creek Recreation Area

Although you can hear and see some of the other campers from the main loop, this is still a wonderfully peaceful place. The creek flowing through the middle of the grounds is a wonderful scenic point and provides with sound cover. We pulled our tear drop trailer into our site with no issues.

Next year the last campground I know of will be DESTROYED for, people who consider it's camping to have electricity and water for their monstrosity 5th wheelers and 40 foot rolling palaces...The ambience of feeling like you are in a SACRED SPIRITUAL natural and tranquil place will be gone forever.. This will be your last chance to experience what thousands of generations before have had. Peace. Only the ELITES can have and Afford what I experienced here. May as well go to rock creek and Camp? In their trailer park with the rest of the pitiful souls crave but will never find the solitude that USED to be. Camp horse creek.
