As with most state parks the sites are nice (but not too private) bathrooms are clean, you can purchase firewood and there are evening programs. But this park..well they are all about family - there is now a zipline in the park and 35 miles of wonderful trails to explore. This is a busy state park though and for me one of the 3 the back-country sites might have been a better choice. Book early! Especially for fall! Be prepared for critters in camp at night by making sure all your food items are stored securely. Wishing I had not forgotten the camera for this side trip!
