Bledsoe Creek has 58 paved campsites with fire rings, grills, and picnic tables. All have water hookups.

Forty-four of these campsites have 50/30/20-amp service, are level, and can accommodate rigs over 20 feet long.
Fourteen campsites have 30/20-amp service, vary from level to slight incline, and are appropriate for rigs less than 20 feet long.
A dump station and laundromat are available year-round.
Two bathhouses with heat and air conditioning provide hot showers.
Tents can be set up in the grass or on paved parking pads unless otherwise indicated.
Firewood and ice are sold onsite.
Sites 4, 18, and 43 have additional improvements making them compliant with the American Disabilities Act.

Bledsoe Creek State Park Campground

Bledsoe Creek is a small state park, but still very pretty and a nice area to camp. We first camped here after watching the Great American Eclipse from the park, and although the park was packed that day (because it was in the path of totality), in the evening the campground was still clean and well run. One of the toilet buildings had closed down, but only because of the hundreds of eclipse watchers in only a morning- otherwise should have no problems. Most of the campsites are not super far apart from each other, but there are trees and lots of shade so it still feels fairly private. Bathrooms were close enough and clean, and the staff at the visitor center was very friendly and helpful.

Lots of people took kayaks and boats out on the water, and there are a few dock spots where people were fishing. The trails are well marked and in great shape, and were almost all flat so nice for going on an easy run! There are only a few trails and areas in the park to explore, so it might not be the best place to camp for multiple nights or focus a trip on, but is great if you are traveling through that area and want a nice place to take a walk and camp for a night.

small park but still perfect for viewing eclipses!!

This is not one of the larger state parks in TN - but I have to say it is one of the friendliest we have visited. You do not always need a reservation as the park holds out a couple spaces for drive ups. Firewood available (please do not bring your own). 2 other state parks are less than 30 miles away Cedars of Lebanon and Long Hunter (no camping available there). Bring your boat! Great fishing! The lakeside trail is nice and easy. Bring oil and cornmeal for a great fish dinner!

Small and friendly

The park was wet and infested with BOY SCOUTS!!! :) Looked like they were having rainy fun. 
Facilities were clean, trails and signage well maintained. Camping sites spaced well with room for more then one tent. Historical stuff too.

Bledsoe Creek has a great hiking trail and clean picnic areas. The park is very well maintained.

Very clean with a great playground!

Really had a great big site with tons of room for camper and tent to spread out. Lots of grassy areas and lake fishing.

Well taken care of

We stayed at site 5\. Lots of pull through sites. Nice walking trails, with lots of wildlife very close. Close to the water for fishing or Kayaking.

We really enjoyed our 2 night stay at Bledsoe Creek State Park! Campground was very clean. Plenty of spaces between sites. State park officers were very friendly. We will definitely return again! 

Loved our stay

Bledsoe is great for little kids (which is now my primary criteria when judging a park). There is a flat trail next to the lake that my two year old loves to run up and down, playgrounds, and a story trail. There are also some nice hiking trails with beautiful views of the lake (for me) and lots of bugs and turtles (for the toddler). 

While most of the campsites have RV hookups, there are several primitive sites next to the lake that are away from all the generator noise. These sites have ample room and a nice view of the lake.

Great camping for families that is a short drive from Nashville. 

Easy primitive campingexperience with kids

We were in primitive site I and it was a perfect spot to camp on a hot day. The sun never touched our tent. They offer kayak rentals and they are good sturdy ones at a reasonable rate. There is no swimming but we enjoyed fishing. They have A honey locus tree on one of the trails which was cool. I had never seen one. They are pet friendly and pets are allowed leashes on all the hiking trails. The animals are not scared of humans or dogs. We had squirrels, birds, deer and turkey join us at our camp site. 

TREE CANOPY!!

Bathrooms were very clean. The hosts were nice, and rode by to see if we needed wood or ice. This was our first trip. The only bad things were that there was no swimming in the lake and there was no pool. We will try a new place next time. Plan on trying a few of them! Can’t wait!

Nice, clean, and quiet

We camped here in January. It was very quiet because the other campers were all RVers who spent most of their time inside. The bathrooms were very clean and we basically had them to ourselves, since the RVers used their RVs. This park was really nice and we got some great sunrises over the water. Loved having a water spigot onsite. Only an hour away from Nashville if you want to visit!

Clean and quiet

This park was amazing!  We loved our views of the water, having hikes and geocaching right from the campsite and multiple playgrounds was a real treat!

We loved being on a cul de sac for our little one and enjoyed the large campsite with room to roam!  It was a little odd that our fire pit was behind our camper but it worked out. Overall we loved it and will be back!

Best park to date!

This campground was fantastic. Our family has been in search of a campground close to home where we can spend several weekends each year and this may be it. The sites are spacious, the campground is clean, the bathhouses were VERY clean, and the hosts were friendly and helpful. The only thing keeping this from being 5 stars is the park itself which is nice, but small. We did a nice 4 mile hike around the whole park, but when we’re hiking we love to get out away from everyone and everything. It felt like we were in earshot of the campground the entire hike. 

We’ll DEFINITELY be returning to this campground.

Great Weekend

I took my son here and it was a quaint little place. We stayed in the primitive sites right next to the lake. Definitely recommend.
