Some updates needed

We picked out a campsite and set up our camp for the evening. However, we then found out that the bathroom and shower room were closed. As such, we had to walk quite a ways to use the facilities. Just check it out before you set up your camp.

Great one nighter!

This is a no frills campground but it's great as a 1-nighter coming to or from the gulf coast. Accepts Passport America discount making the price just right. Sites are perfectly level, utilities all work great. Most sites are pull through and long enough to park without unhooking, even with longer…

So Very Disappointed

Was scheduled to be there for 6 nights. This park is in the middle of no where. No one at guard house when we arrived about 1 pm. Finally got someone to come and show us where to park. We have a 45 ft class A. We needed a 50 amp site. Only 50 amp sites had annuals on it. Site he took us to was so…

Very nice site!

My two kids tent camped while my parents had their pop up! It was a nice site. There were enough trees that my brother in law was able to set up his hammock system. The site was well kept. There were hardly any blood sucking bugs and no wildlife for protect our stuff from. I think part of that is…

Great for fishing access

We love Bruton Branch. Specifically sites 28&29 they are the last of the site but it allows you to have your own little slice of fishing heaven as you are separated from the majority of other people. Right on the water and a breathtaking view to wake up to.

So Clean!

This campsite was renovated after flooding occurred. Nice level sites! Our Super C Class did require more blocks for leveling in the front on Site 6.  However, it was a very nice site with plenty of privacy. This site backed up to tall Pine Trees and plenty of grass area for our pups.  New grills. …

Abounds in charm and hospitality

My stay won't likely be like yours. First, I drove in while Mississippi was under a blanket of snow. All the roads in Holly Springs and the rest of the state were treacherous with packed snow and ice following a week of unseasonably frigid weather across the southern midwest.

That said, the 2…

  • Fantastic rangers!
  • Despite snow shutting down a lot of the facilities, the rangers found space, power and a bathroom for me.
  • Unseasonable frigid temperatures throughout the south left pipes frozen.

Nice Spot

This place has been totally rebuilt by the TVA after flooding in 2019. I don't know what it was like before, but wow it's really nice. All the sites are level, plenty of room for a tent and RV on all 92 sites. Close to some great golf & BBQ, fishing,& Shiloh Battlefield.

The perimeter…

Quiet, inexpensive nature setting campground

Remotely located but still close to major roads. We came in with a 38’ RV not much problem with spaces but be aware of trees on both sides of spaces. We were given space #60 but would not have been able to open slides because of trees so we took another space. Most of them are not leveled. Water…

Pretty basic campground

Good place to stop on the way to somewhere else. If you’re allergic to poison ivy, watch out. The stuff is everywhere!

Nice basic campground

Park is very pretty but needs some TLC to its facilities. Spoke with Norma when headed to campground and she said a tree had fallen on road to our campsite. Had call in to rangers to clear it. She called us back that afternoon and it was cleared. Our breaker box kept tripping so may have been…

Good stop over but don't stay more than a night...

Was clean-ish, but extremely out of date with a lot of broken and closed amenities. Showed up during open hours, tried to claim our reservation....and there was no one there at all. No staff. No humans. Not being able to register wasn't a problem because we had our pick of sites. Site was in decent…

One night stay

Took us in on short notice during health scare. Would've been 5 stars if they had a fire pits. Great overnight stop.
