We absolutely love this place!

2020 was our first year camping and we loved salt lick creek camping. The camp ground was so clean, and nice. We would recommend this place to anyone.

Great Campground

This COE campground is great.  We were in site 68 and had plenty of room.  The site had plenty of space, level,  and fairly easy to back into.  the only downside is that the site did not have sewer hookup.  There was no cell phone coverage on ATT network.

Love the Platform sites

We love the platform sites that are so spacious and private. Easy access to dump station and bath houses. Almost all sites have view of water. It was very peaceful and quiet. It is very affordable especially for state employees. We will return.

Best access to big cave

The campground is standard run of fair, pretty spacious & woodsy. THE CAVE IS VERY BIG AND COOL. Reserve the all day guided tour with crawling about in small spaces for the best experience. Make sure your boots have enough tread or you won't be allowed to do the tour!

Great experience in the primitive camping area.

Loved it. Great spot. Plenty of space. Friendly staff.

Quick stopover

November 16, 2020 We arrived after dark, and left fairly early the next morning so didn’t spend a lot of time there. Went for a short walk before we left in the morning. Parking sites are on wooden platforms which was fine for our Winnebago Revel, but a bit weird for my daughter who was sleeping in a tent, but it all worked out fine. The only amenities we used were the dump station and restrooms. Restrooms were clean and heated.

Beautiful lake and limestone formations but that’s about all we saw of the park.

Best park to date!

This park was amazing! We loved our views of the water, having hikes and geocaching right from the campsite and multiple playgrounds was a real treat!

We loved being on a cul de sac for our little one and enjoyed the large campsite with room to roam! It was a little odd that our fire pit was behind our camper but it worked out. Overall we loved it and will be back!

Beautiful location

This park is located on a peninsula on a lake close to Nashville. Almost every site has a view of the water on flat concrete big pads. Some sites, on higher land, are mostly long term residents. Most sites are back in but there are a few pull through. Each site has all hook ups and are very well maintained. The sites are close together but not uncomfortable. There is a camp store at the main office. The pool is very nice and there are games, a playground and a pavilion. There was a band there during my stay. Activities planned throughout the month. It is more expensive than most but the quality of the site is worth it.

Beautiful park!

We have camped here twice this year! Nice to be able to get away and not to far from home!

Camp 6P

Clean and we'll maintained, busy but great.
