Been going here since I was a kid. Its a great place to camp with great bike trails and everything you need. Little crowded and you will need to reserve out 3-4 weeks to get an electric spot.
Nice campground. Clean, pet friendly. A lot of sites! Access to lakes. Saw a lot of wildlife for such a big campground with lots of people traffic.
Parker’s Crossroads is located very conveniently off of I-40 and the park is gorgeous! They have some long term campers, storage, and an RV Repair Center on site. The shop inside has more parts then we have ever seen at an RV Park. While here we needed a switch for a water heater, they had it!
The campground had some narrow roads and some less than level sites but they were all doable. They have a nice pool area, spaces for dogs to be walked (on leash), pet waste disposal, cabins, and full hook ups.
The park was very quiet and clean, well kept. They have large mature trees, and great landscaping.
The cellular service for TMobile and AT&T we’re both decent and streaming video was possible each night.
Very nice campground. Very clean and family friendly. All sites were a good size. Nice lake views from most sites but really enjoyed our lakeside spot Black Oak loop #22. Our son enjoyed throwing rocks in the lake from our site. I agree with others, firewood and ice were both well priced, great convenience store available.
Ginger Bay is very remote but as always, remote is totally worth it. I don’t recommend a pull behind trailer as the road is so rough you wont get a camper up it. The sites are just a clearing in the trees so there is no place to park a rig. Campsites are right on the lake and no cell access. The free camping nearby is totally worth checking into if you’re in the area for a couple days.
Incredible back country campsite, for use with dispersed camping permit. Right on the water, no other people for 2 days! This is a car camping site however you will need a four-wheel drive vehicle to get down the steep gravel road to the dispersed camping area. Highly recommend. No hookups available, primitive tent only.
Nice campground, WiFi included. Quiet enough. Stayed in campsite 4, small but fine for our pop up.
Bathhouses were not fancy but cleaner than most, we were impressed.
Campground owners/managers were extremely helpful and polite, helped us get our camper set up as this was our first stay in a new camper.
We’ve only been once but can say it’s a great campground, with 2 boat ramps, store, regular patrols, a beach, activities for kids and pretty good views of Kentucky Lake. Very large and easy access to sites with larger rigs. Ticks were very bad, but this is no fault of theirs. We’ll be back soon!
Great easy drive from middle Tennessee with tons of great amenities and staff.
