Nathan Bedford Forrest State Park Campground

Great hidden spot.

Great campground, definitely a hidden gem. It’s about 15 minutes from the nearest town. The rustic camping is directly on the Tennessee river.

The main campground (Happy Hollow) is separated and by itself. There is 50/30/110 electrical, water hookups, and a dumping station on the way out.

All sites are made up of pavement. If you have a larger rig I highly recommend using the sites towards the front of the campground. There are showers in the bathhouse which is centrally located.

Definitely a great place for peace and tranquillity. Great hiking trails and a museum to visit during the day. I highly recommend this place.
