Excellent spot to truly escape

From the trailhead to CS23 per Strava is 7.56 miles and ~1200 feet of elevation gain. There are three large tent sites in broken up into a lower, middle and upper sites with the middle and upper sites having bear cables. Access to Goshen Prong is easy with a short 2 minute walk so water is abundant. The upper site is secluded and level with a fire ring, two log benches and a two close trees for a hammock.

Fly fishing is ridiculously fun and is basically a fish per cast.

All in all it’s a great site and is excellent for a summer spot to run to when it’s to hit down in the valley.
