Plenty Star Ranch, more of a retreat than a ranch these days, is the private home of Jack and Isa Kirk. It is located in the Southern Black Hills and surrounded by National Forest with lots of pine, aspen and willow trees. 

Bring your tents or your own RV and hook it up to electricity (20, 30& 50 amp) and water on any of our 3 full grass sites or use the dump station for the 3 partial sites (e/w).  

Our WiFi reaches to all camping sites now!. However we only have AT&T cell service for a few miles around the ranch, including the Wilderness Glamping " cabin site.

We also offer 2 one-room hand-built camping log cabins (sleeps 3  res. 5 people) at the main ranch (restroom 50 yards away, solar camping showers only. Please, bring your own solar camping shower bags). In a pinch i am happy to fill yours or ours with hot tap water.

We also just recently opened up a pristine piece of undisturbed land, a emote and off-the-grid 78 acre land parcel, 1.5 miles from the main ranch, 100% surrounded by National Forest. You cannot find any better "Wilderness Glamging" in the Black Hills.. It features a small bedroom camping cabin with 1 double bed, camping loo and fire pit, and soon a solar shower shelter as well.. Bring a couple of friends and their tents along if you like. Make sure to account fr all people in your group when booking. This is for avid wilderness campers.

Our retreat is less suitable for children under the age of 12.  No guest or emotional support pets allowed here.  Plenty Star Ranch is a non-smoking 88 acre private place, no exceptions. 

 The ranch home and campground is located between Custer and Pringle, SD along Hwy 385, adjacent to the 110 mile long Mickelson Trail from Deadwood to Edgemont (mile marker 34/35), and near every major attraction in the Black Hills. 

Check-in time between 4 pm and 9 pm. No later than that, please. Have questions, please do not hesitate to ask.
