The beach is lovely - clean, quiet, very close to the beach campsites. Bathrooms are clean and well kept although why on earth do some SC state park bathrooms only have a slimy bar of soap to share? My complaint is that some of the sites are awful - ours had no trees, neighbors breathing down our neck, and nowhere to pitch a tent that wasn’t incredibly hard packed. No playground and the water is salty. I understand this is storm damage, some of it, but it’s an extremely expensive campsite.
