Rushmore Shadows Resort is tucked in the Ponderosa Pine foothills of the Black Hills of South Dakota, Rushmore Shadows offers monumental fun. Located conveniently on Hwy 16 just minutes from Rapid City, Keystone, Hill City, Custer State Park, and MOUNT RUSHMORE – Rushmore Shadows Resort is the premier local RV camping destination for everything in Mount Rushmore South Dakota.

Home to cabins, tent sites, full hookup RV sites (30 & 50 amp), pine trees, and lots of family fun! We have family activities, mini golf, a pool, nearby hiking trails, a camp store, a playground, and sports courts. We pride ourselves on having a fun atmosphere, being private, secure, and quiet. We look forward to being your next vacation destination!

The minimum age to Camp at Rushmore Shadows is 25 years old.

Reservations are confirmed Monday through Saturday 9a - 5p. We currently do not have automatic reservations, we will call you to confirm your reservation.

Love this beautiful campground!

This is a beautiful Good Sam Campground.

We really loved this campground! It was close to the Black Hills, Custer State Park & Mount Rushmore. Had basketball court, pool, hot tub, laundry & bath house. Full hookups, level concrete pad & just perfect!

Directions

From I-90: Take Ex 61 S (Hwy 16 Truck, Hwy 79 and Mt. Rushmore). Stay on Hwy 16 Truck for approximately 9 mi, then turn L on Hwy 16. Travel SW approximately 6 mi. Resort is on North side of Hwy 16 behind Old MacDonald's Farm.
