Peaceful lake access

This park has a nice combination of water access and land activities. Sites 6-12 have views of a lovely blue-green lake finger, sites 13-17 have good views as well as easy access to a small beach for swimming and playing. Other sites, including tent sites, don’t have as much to recommend them. The campground did not feel very crowded, even in August. The park also has a beach, baseball field, mini golf, etc.

Compact but Scenic

We were here for 4 days to visit family over the Easter Holiday in 2022.  We have a 35 ft 5th Wheel and a 3500 Ram Truck.  We selected spot 11 because it backed up to the lake and has an awesome view.  At arrival we checked in at the gate and the very nice lady at checkin gave us great directions on how to get to our campsite and also that we may need to go in the one way the wrong way to get our camper backed in.  Which we did and it worked great.  Sites only have water and electric but this wasn’t an issue for us as we were only here a short time and didn’t need to dump.  I did check out the bathhouse just see what it was like and was very surprised to see how new and clean they were.  Showers were HUGE with a nice big dry off area which is uncommon in smaller campgrounds like this one.

Lots to do in the area, we would highly recommend coming back and staying here longer.  For those that don’t like having sites without sewer this didn’t appear to stop campers that were here for longer.  Lots of honey pots headed up to the very convenient dump station.
