Fantastic stay with family. The owner is such a great guy. Helped us so much with a problem we were having with our RV. Went out of his way to get it fixed for us.
We liked it so much we stayed another night. Quiet, wooded spots, with a very nice bathhouse, and good trails nearby. We would stay again.
We stayed at a Susquehanna river view site with full hookups for 2 nights. Site was level and shaded, but very close to neighbors. Most sites were occupied by permanent or seasonal residents. Bathrooms and grounds were very clean. Rates are reasonable for what you get, and they offer discounts. We…
This was our first trip out with an rv. I loved all the trees and the close proximity to town.
We took a chance in September 2020 and decided to make plans to camp for two nights so we could get some hiking in nearby at the Pine Grove Furnace State Park. You're greeted by a sign on the front office door that says "Masks are optional," so that tells you all you need to know about camping here…
The park is very pretty, but the little store to buy firewood and ice is only open on the weekends now. This park is not far from gas stations and restaurants, so it's easy enough to get anything you need!
Cute campground but the site wasn't the best. No extra hookup outlet, uneven grounds & no shade.
We went to Little Buffalo State Park for Labor Day weekend and had a blast! Great neighbors, lots of kids to play with, good playground and very clean facilities (cleaned daily). The driving path is gravel with a steep hill at the end so if you can help it I would avoid sites 32,34,36 as they are…

We visited the day use area but drove through the campground for future reference. The campground offers a lot of sites (189 sites). 148 sites have electric and water. Some sites are monthly rental only. They also offer seasonal sites. There are 38 tent only sites as well. There are 3 primitive…

Very good Hospitality, love the Atmosphere and will Call hall definitely come back soon
Appalachian mountain range, not bad with 4wheel drive. Stayed first at camp, moved to atv parking. Very remote and atvs in and out. Clean and we'll maintained.
We only booked for one night. But we loved this campground so much that we added an extra night. Very close to Gettysburg (25 mins) and hiking at the falls. Sites were level and shaded. Bathrooms were very clean - and had lots of hooks in the shower room.

Loved it here!! Impressed with the large flat sites and clean facilities. There was a crew there cleaning bath rooms every day over the weekend we were visiting. Very cute swimming areas right up the road from camp ground that has bathrooms and snack bar. Within walking distance is the museums,…

Great because they give you the extra perk of additional time at the park as a resort guest. Camp store is clean. Unfortunately, spaces are small so be prepared to literally be on top of your neighbor
Elderberry Loop is near the top of the mountain.
This is not a pet friendly loop.
Site 112 is level, mostly shaded, backs up to the woods and has electric.
The site is between two cabins. Not a problem except the cabins were empty and the ac was running. Noisy and kind of wasteful.
