I was excited for this trip because of the location. In our state the mask mandate had been lifted for three days and everywhere we had been in town was no longer requiring masks. This location requires 20 feet distancing and masks while outside (not following CDC guidelines at all). And when you are completely alone outside walking from your site they are watching you to jump on you for the masks. Their signage is also snide which I find completely unnecessary even in the middle of a pandemic, which we are no longer in.
With that negative experience aside we did like our site but didn’t see any of the rest of the park to avoid having to mask up and deal with anyone else. The beach access is nice and the area is quite private so you are bound to have the beach almost all to yourself. The tide pools were great as well. The location is close to two towns with lots to do!
