Lovely

Me and my girlfriend stayed at a tent campsite amongst many other tent/RV campers and it was great. Fire pit a picnic table and a short walk to the bathrooms. I would stay here again.

Lower loop is much nicer than the upper loop. Upper loop is mot dog friendly .

Maybe kid friendly but not dog friendly.

The lower loop is very nice- as a full time vanlifer, definitely would revisit that area again when I’m not feeling up to boondocking. The upper loop is geared more towards families with children and retired folks who are looking to camp surrounded by other…

Good option outside Bend

We only stayed for one night on a trip through the state but it was a decent campground. It's convenient to both hiking in the surrounding area and the city to check out a brewery in the evening. Directions

Directions to Tumalo State Park From the west: Follow Hwy 20 east of Sisters approx. 15 miles. Watch for hwy signs at Tumalo Junction. Turn right onto OB Riley Rd. and continue 1 mile to park. The campground will be on your left. From the north: Follow Hwy 97 south of Redmond, approx. 10 miles. Watch for hwy signs at Deschutes Mkt. Tumalo Rd. exit. Turn right on Tumalo Rd and continue 4 miles into Tumalo. Turn left onto Cline Falls Hwy and follow signs to Hwy 20; cross Hwy 20 and continue 1 mile to park on OB Riley Rd. The campground will be on your left.
